European Wireless 2014
The 20th European Wireless (EW) Conference will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from 14 to 16 May 2014 and will be organized by the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC). CTTC is one of the leading telecommunication research institutions in Spain focusing on the lower layers of the communications protocol stack. CTTC is located close to Barcelona, a Mediterranean city well-known for its touristic attraction (architecture, culture, cuisine, and weather, among many others).
The 2014 edition of EW is aimed at addressing a key theme on "Energy- and Spectrally-Efficient Broadband Communication Systems".
Acceptance of submitted papers will be based on quality, relevance, and originality. Proposals for special sessions and tutorials are also invited. Call for papers.
Journal special issue
Authors of selected papers will be invited to produce a journal (extended) version. This version will be considered for publication in a Special Issue of Wiley’s Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (ETT) in line with EW14’s key theme.
Best student paper award
Papers bearing a PhD student as the first author will be considered for the European Wireless Best Paper Award, sponsored by the European Association of Communications and Networking (EURACON). Technical Program Chairs must be notified about papers qualifying for this award.
